Hey guys,

I just made a simple site right now that covers my BFA senior project that will utilize a Nintendo Wii Remote and a skateboard. I am using several programs that will makes these things work and communicating together.

I will hopefully create a interactive environment within a gallery, where users will ride on the skateboard and observe the screen and manipulate perhaps video or cool animations. Don't know for sure, but I am working on it. I am somewhat new to this new type of programing. Throughout this whole winter break, I have done alot of research on several programs and devices (Flash, Quartz Composer, Processing,Wiimote, iPhone and Arduinos). I must got about 6 books to look at this break, so i got a lot of reading to do.

Whipcream vs. Cheeswhip

So for my final video project, i plan to make a short film on addiction to whip cream. It's a dark comedy that projects a single character's addiction to this condiment. It will be funny and still have issues on addiction, disorders, and psychological effects on the term addiction. Each scenarios will be based on two parts; a struggle with whip cream addiction and a struggle between whip cream and cheese whip. It consist of about 19 different scenarios, with funny results. I will be filming this weekend. I actually got this new idea by talking to my friend about funny situations. I thought this would be a different take on the recent films i've been making this past semester.

I was doing some research for my BFA 199 final project. With Hasan's link to conceptual artist, i stumbled upon a artist that utlized Max/MSP/ & Abeton Live and utlized it with a skateboard interface. Based on the movement of the board, it would produce sounds from the computer. A physical musical controller interface. They performed it at ZERO 1 last year. I can't believe i missed it. I would also like to utlized a skateboard for my proposed iPhone motion technology. It could be possible.... i think.

Canon Powershot Feature: Color Accent Mode

My advertising group just finished a Canon Camera presentation on some cool features that i never knew canon had. Here is a video i took with my
Canon Power Shot Camera using the color accent mode. The color accent mode feature highlights a single color and turns everything else mono chromatic or black and white check it out. Making it look like a sin city video.

Day 3 filming: Art 105 Project #2

We arrived at Steven Creek County Park around 9:30am. We had to meet early because i had to go to work at 1. I was the last one to arrive, but Michael and John just arrived minutes before. We planned this shoot to be the final day of filming, and planned to edit on Monday since we were busy this upcoming weekend.

Day 2 filming: Art 105 Project 2

We arrived at Steven's Creek County Park to work on getting some scenes for our Art 105 Project. We expected to film at least 3 to 4 scenes that day, depending on the weather conditions.

We wanted to work on the first scene, which is the most difficult shot, the panning over the shoulder shot.

Michael, John, and I immediatly left after class, after Hasan discussed with us the points of the assignment. This project was particularly interesting as well as challenging, but i knew i would learn alot about the film making process. Michael knew some good locations while we were at class. He proposed a located at the Steven's Creek County Park, where there would be enough trees and a similar hiking trail that resembles our Rosohomon clip.
